One Bar Prison

Spring-rod restraint: trapped on contact, recapture on escape

A vertical spring pole that traps the captive the moment they mount it. The longer they fight it, the more they're playing with it themselves: with operator lock, public torment, a self-hunting trap, runaway recapture, and full RLV restriction. Every animation is custom-commissioned from a professional animator; no stock packs, no recycled bento clips.

Version1.3.8
Key Features
Spring Escape
Mash S to drive the bar down toward freedom: stop, and the spring reclaims every inch. Four tension levels from forgiving to brutal, and push too long without escaping and the captive collapses, progress wiped.
Lock & Torment
Freeze the escape with a touch: every frantic push becomes a useless, squirming shudder. Then shock, time-lock, or tighten the spring from the Torment menu.
Public Torment
Open the toy to the room and let passers-by walk up and torment the captive, with or without mercy. Per-person cooldown keeps it from becoming a pile-on.
Auto-Capture & Recapture
Leave the pole unattended and it grabs anyone who strays too close: whitelist, blacklist, or take-anyone. Log out, stand, or teleport away, and it drags the runaway straight back onto the pole the moment they return.
RLV Restriction
Ten toggle categories of sensory and movement limits, plus a camera lock that clamps how far the captive can look, down to mouselook. Hide the progress bar from the captive alone, while operators still see it.
Sentencing Timer
Count the captive's release down in game time or by the real clock, auto-start it the instant they're caught, and set them free the moment it ends.

How it works

Getting Started

  1. Rez the One Bar Prison in-world (it is furniture, not worn).
  2. Touch the device to open the main menu: there is no chat command.
  3. Anyone may sit on the pole. On capture the captive is told: You are trapped in the One Bar Prison! Mash S or ↓ fast to push down and escape, A/D or ←/→ to turn.

As a Captive (the one trapped)

  • S or ↓: push down against the spring (+progress).
  • A / D or ← / →: turn left / right on the pole.
  • Touch the device: opens the Adjust submenu (Depth + Avatar Height only; no shock, no escape controls).
  • Watch the floating text: a progress bar ■■■□□□□□□□ 45% shows how close you are to 100%. When it turns red and reads 🔒 LOCKED, your pushes gain nothing.

As an Operator / Owner

  • Touch the device → main menu (Setup, Adjust, Timer, RLV, language, plus Lock / Release / Torment / Capture depending on state).

Escape & Release

  • Each S / ↓ press adds progress (default 1% per press).
  • The spring constantly decays progress at a rate set by the current tension level: Low, Mid, High, or XHigh. Raising or lowering tension tells the captive The spring tightens... / The spring loosens... The level persists across captures.
  • Reach 100% = escape: <name> broke free from the One Bar Prison! After escape (or timer expiry) there is a short cooldown before anyone can re-sit.

Exhaustion

  • While progress stays above 0, a stamina window counts up (default 50s). Sustain the fight that long without escaping and you collapse: progress resets and S / A / D are blocked for 5 seconds.
  • Being shocked also triggers exhaustion instantly.

Lock Behavior

  • When locked, S presses no longer add progress: they only flash a struggle animation and push arousal. The spring still decays any existing progress. Lock does not shock and has no cooldown.

Turn

  • A / D / ← / → rotates the seated avatar ~15° per press with a turn animation. Blocked during exhaustion.

Trap & Auto-Capture

Trap menu (Setup → Trap). Header shows scan settings or recapture status.

  • ☑/☐ Trap: toggle the proximity auto-capture scanner. When on and the device is free, it scans around itself at intervals; a qualified avatar is force-sat on capture.
  • Mode: Whitelist / Blacklist / All: cycle capture mode: only listed people, everyone not listed, or anyone at all.
  • ☑/☐ Recapture: on any unexpected unsit (logout / stand / teleport, not escape, timer, or menu release), the device watches for that captive's return nearby and force-sits them back (requires an active RLV relay). The pole shows RECAPTURE <name> while waiting; cancel with Release.

Capture (main menu, empty device) scans 20m and shows a target picker: grab any nearby avatar immediately.

Adjustments

  • Depth: impale offset of the pole (default +0.20m, range −1.00 to +1.00m).
  • Avatar Height: vertical sit offset (default 0.00m, range −1.00 to +1.00m).
  • Fine steps +0.25 / +0.05 / +0.01 / -0.01 / -0.05 / -0.25 plus Reset.
  • The captive can touch the device and self-adjust both: it is their only menu, and their only exit is Close.
  • While captured, the pole sinks up to 0.1m in proportion to escape progress (full sink at 100%), and rises back as progress decays.

Torment

Shown when a captive is held. Header: <name> is trapped! What will you do?

  • Shock!: warning beep, then shock animation + sound + light for ~5s. Also triggers exhaustion.
  • Lock 30s: temp-lock the escape for 30s.
  • Tighten: temporarily raise the spring tension one level for 30s.

Public access: when the access mode is Public and Public Torment is on, passers-by can open this menu by touching the device; each is limited by a per-person cooldown (default 30s). Operators are never cooldown-limited.

Timer

Empty-safe: opening with no captive shows config only.

  • +1min / +5min / +30min / +1hr: set the duration (max 24h); Reset clears it.
  • ☑/☐ Auto Timer: auto-start the countdown the moment someone is caught.
  • Game / Real: Game Time counts SL seconds (pauses on logout); Real Time anchors to the wall clock and keeps running through logout.
  • Start / Pause / Stop while running.
  • On expiry the captive is released: <name>'s timer has expired!

RLV Restrictions

Requires a captive with an active RLV relay. Restrictions auto-reapply every 30s to stay enforced.

Ten toggle categories: Sitting, Far Touch, Edit, Teleport, All Touch, Inventory, Names & Text, Chat & Gestures, IM, Location, each on its own ☑/☐.

Camera lock: clamp the captive's camera distance to 5m / 2m / 1m / mouselook, or Off.

Hide Status Text (Setup): hides the floating progress text from the captive only (operators and bystanders still see it). Needs an active RLV relay.

Apply Now re-applies everything immediately; Clear All lifts all restrictions but does not release the captive.

Access Control

Owner-only menu (Setup → Access).

  • Mode: Public / Operators Only: anyone can open the main menu, or only the owner + operators (up to 10, added by scanning nearby).
  • ☑/☐ Public Torment: whether passers-by can torment a held captive.

Note: sitting on the pole is always open to everyone; access control only gates the menu.

Settings

  • Setup submenu (main menu): Spring tension, Trap, Hide Status Text, Resize, Access.
  • Spring tension: four levels (Low / Mid (default) / High / XHigh), the higher, the faster progress decays.
  • Resizer: per-axis or stretch-all scaling with Restore to original size.
  • Language: switch anytime with the 中文 / EN button.
  • Fine-tuning (push gain, tension rates, exhaustion window, scan radius, cooldowns, and more) lives in the BarPrison.Config notecard inside the device: edit and save, it reloads automatically.

Troubleshooting: if the captive can still unsit or teleport, RLV isn't active: make sure they wear an RLV relay and at least one restriction category is enabled. Force-sit and recapture also require a relay.
