What is OpenCollar?
OpenCollar (OC) is the most widely used open-source collar script system in Second Life: leash, poses, access levels, and a built-in multi-source RLV relay. Our maid collar runs on OC scripts.
What OpenCollar is
OpenCollar (OC for short) is an open-source collar script system for Second Life, maintained since 2008, with its code public on GitHub and free to use. It isn't a single product — it's a collar "engine": any collar built on OC scripts shares the same menus, chat commands, and accessory ecosystem.
Main features
- Leash: walk the wearer around, with multiple leash points and anchors.
- Poses: a built-in pose system, compatible with OC pose accessories.
- Access levels: owner, trusted, and block lists keep who-can-do-what clear.
- Lock: keeps the wearer from simply taking the collar off.
- Apps: features load as apps and can be added or removed freely.
The highlight: the built-in RLV relay
Every OC collar ships with a multi-source RLV relay, one of its most central features:
- It answers RLV commands from multiple people, furniture, or toys at once, forwarding them to your viewer so restrictions can be applied to the wearer: force sit, prevent detach, block teleport, and more.
- It supports ask mode (a dialog confirms every command) and auto mode (commands execute immediately); to have bondage furniture grab and sit you automatically, use auto mode.
- Most bondage furniture on the market is OC-compatible — wear an OC collar, enable the relay from the menu, and furniture can "recognize" you.
