YaYa*Magic Broom

Ready to try it? The wearer hangs beneath the broom; the rider sits on top and drives.

1. In your inventory, choose Add for the broom, both wrist cuffs, and both ankle cuffs.
2. Accept animation and control permission requests. Enable RLV in your viewer for attachment locking, float height, and riding together.
3. Touch the broom to open its menu. It starts in English; 🌐 中文 switches to Chinese.
4. Choose 🔒 LOCK, then pick a bound pose from 🧎 POSES. The chains follow the pose.
5. Use ⚙ SETTINGS → 🎈 HEIGHT to lift the wearer clear of the ground.
6. To fly together, give your partner access through 🔐 ACCESS, then have them choose 🧹 RIDE. The land must allow the wearer to rez objects; see Riding Together below.
7. To finish, someone with permission chooses 🧹 DISMOUNT, then 🔓 UNLOCK.

Touch the broom to open its menu. You can also type the command shown beside Command in the main menu, in local chat or on channel 1.

The menu shows the owner, version, command, lock status, and key holder. Available buttons depend on your permissions and the current state.

☑ means on; ☐ means off. The language button switches between English and Chinese.

The advertised set includes 8 bound animations for the wearer hanging underneath. Lock the broom, open 🧎 POSES, and choose a pose. Unlocking stops the bound animation.

Each pose uses its own wrist and ankle chain connections. Some poses leave certain cuffs unconnected by design.

With SELF CONTROL on, the locked wearer can walk slowly. Turn it off to hold them in place. This doesn't affect riding; switching it off during a ride won't end the ride.

The rider's 10 animations are separate: choose them under SEATS → RIDE STYLE.

Choose 🔒 LOCK to lock the broom and matching cuffs together. Someone with permission can use 🔓 UNLOCK to release them. Attachment locking requires RLV.

While locked with no key holder, a partner with access can choose 🗝 TAKE KEY. Once someone else holds the key, the wearer can't unlock themselves. The current holder can choose 🗝 RETURN KEY; returning it doesn't unlock the broom.

Owner, trusted, and key-holder permissions affect unlocking and timer controls. Check Access before handing over control.

Both the normal timer and self-bondage are under ⏱ TIMER.

Normal countdown

1. Add time with +1MIN, +5MIN, +30MIN, or +1HR.
2. Choose ▶ RUN to start. If you want the broom locked, lock it in the main menu first.
3. The broom unlocks when the countdown ends. Someone with permission can stop the timer or add time.

When the timer isn't running, 🔄 RESET clears the selected duration.

Self-bondage

1. As the wearer, open Timer and set a duration greater than zero.
2. Make sure nobody holds the key and the normal timer isn't running.
3. Choose ⛓ SELF-BONDAGE to lock up and start the countdown.

During self-bondage, eligible partners see 🔓 RELEASE and the add-time buttons. When the countdown ends, only the key is returned: the broom stays locked. Once you have the required access again, choose 🔓 UNLOCK to release it.

The wearer hangs beneath the broom while a partner rides on top and drives. You can't ride your own broom, and the broom must be locked first.

Start a ride

1. Find land where the wearer can rez objects, and make sure the wearer has RLV enabled.
2. Add your partner as an owner or trusted person under 🔐 ACCESS.
3. Have your partner touch the broom and choose 🧹 RIDE. The wearer is seated underneath automatically.
4. Following the chat prompt, the partner sits on the spawned transparent vehicle within 30 seconds to drive.

Poses and seats

During a ride, open 🪑 SEATS. M SEAT adjusts the hanging wearer; S SEAT adjusts the rider. Use the direction buttons to move each seat, STEP to change the adjustment amount, and RESET to restore its default position.

🧎 RIDE STYLE offers 10 animations: 7 sitting, 2 standing, and 1 lying pose. You can switch during the ride.

End a ride

Choose 🧹 DISMOUNT to finish. Either person standing up, unlocking the broom, or detaching it also ends the ride.

Enable RLV for attachment locking and forced seating! See RLV troubleshooting for setup checks.

🛡 RLV contains TOUCH, BUILD, MOVEMENT, and CAMERA groups. Open a group and select the restrictions you want.

Camera distance can be 0, 1, 2, or 3 metres. Zero forces first-person view. Choose OFF to release the camera, or CLEAR ALL to clear restriction selections.

These restrictions apply while locked and release when unlocked. Float height under SETTINGS → HEIGHT is separate and doesn't require locking first.

Use 🔐 ACCESS to decide who can operate the broom.

Have your partner stand within 10 metres when choosing an owner or trusted person from the list.

Use ⚙ SETTINGS → 🎈 HEIGHT to adjust the wearer's float height. Start with a larger step, then use smaller steps to fine-tune it.

⚙ SETTINGS → 📏 RESIZER changes broom size and is available only to the wearer. Fit each cuff separately using your viewer's editing tools; keep a spare copy first.

Float height changes the wearer's standing position. During a ride, adjust your positions relative to each other under 🪑 SEATS.

Can't operate the broom?

Check your access status in the main menu and whether Self Access is off. Some buttons appear only while locked, riding, or when you have the required permissions.

Chains missing?

Add both wrist cuffs and both ankle cuffs, then lock and select a pose. Give the connections a moment to update, and check that your viewer displays particles. Some poses intentionally leave certain cuffs unconnected.

Ride won't start?

Check that the broom is locked, the person starting the ride isn't the wearer and has access, the land allows rezzing, and the wearer has RLV enabled. The rider also needs to sit on the vehicle within 30 seconds of the prompt.

Another animation taking over?

Turn off your AO or other attachments playing full-body animations, then choose the pose again.

Still floating after unlocking?

Float height is separate from locking. Adjust it under SETTINGS → HEIGHT, or detach the broom to restore your height.
