The Catnip

Two-player addiction toy: each shot relieves and deepens it

Catnip is an addiction-play system for two. You hold the Syringe; they get the Relay force-attached. Every shot eases the withdrawal, fires a HIGH, and sinks the hook deeper: and the only thing that eases it is the next shot from your hand. The Relay asks for consent before it locks on; once accepted, it stays on until you let go.

The Catnip
Compatible BodiesUniversal
Version1.1.0
Key Features
One-Way Addiction
Inject Catnip and withdrawal climbs on its own: heat in the body, sharpening sensitivity, an ache that gnaws harder the longer they've been hooked. The only relief is another shot: no antidote, no natural recovery, the loop runs one way. Withdrawal rises faster over the first 10 days, then caps.
Four Ways to Inject
From the prep menu, a mouselook left-click, a ground-pill trap for the first person who touches it, or an automatic first shot the moment they consent. All unlimited, no cooldown. One Syringe can hook any number of wearers at once.
A HIGH That Builds
Every shot stacks a HIGH: chromatic color bloom, an arousal spike, a looping ambient sound: up to a peak of heartbeat-thick blood-red. One shot too many at the peak is an overdose: vision mosaics, a ~2-minute blackout faint, then a crash back to zero.
Withdrawal Episodes
Past the halfway mark, episodes start striking: Mumble, garbled speech with a forced moan per line; Masturbation, the body acting on its own; Dizzy, drowsy, blurred, slowed. The higher the withdrawal, the more often and the longer, and never the same type twice in a row.
The Catnip Bottle
An optional 5-sip prop the wearer carries: each sip is a full injection they give themselves. When it runs dry they must beg a Syringe holder for a refill (who can refuse, publicly). No-copy, so no stashing spares.
Hardcore Mode
Enabled only with the wearer's own consent, spelled out plainly before they agree: the menu locks entirely, the Owner becomes permanent, and only a Crystal of Deliverance can release them.

How it works

Getting Started

Catnip is an RLV addiction-play system: you (the injector) wear the Syringe, and they (the wearer) get the Catnip Relay force-attached; the Relay runs the addiction loop and applies every effect. One Syringe can hook any number of wearers at once.

Role Wears Opens menu by
Injector Catnip Syringe Touch it, or say cn on channel 1
Wearer Catnip Relay (force-attached) Touch it (wearer only) for a status view

The Relay is not worn voluntarily: the Syringe installs it onto the wearer over RLV.

Quick Start (Injector)

  1. Wear the Syringe; open the menu by touching it or typing /1cn.
  2. Scan for targets within 3m.
  3. Select a target: install the Relay if not yet worn, or open the prep menu if already injectable.
  4. Inject: press Inject in the prep menu, or use any other way (see Main Menu).

There is nothing to configure before the first shot: every injection is a single fixed Catnip dose.

Gestures & Commands

Activate the 4 included gestures for one-key control (Inventory → Gestures → right-click → Activate):

Hotkey Gesture Does
F9 CATNIP_MENU Open the Syringe menu (/1cn)
F10 CATNIP_TOGGLE Activate/deactivate the Syringe (/1toggle)
F11 CATNIP_THROW_PILL Toss a ground pill (/1throw)
F12 CATNIP_SELF_INJECT Inject yourself (/1injself)

You can also skip the gestures and type these commands directly on channel 1.

When the Relay attaches, the wearer gets a consent prompt: accepting locks it in, a Syringe holder may inject them with Catnip that builds withdrawal over time, there is no antidote and no natural recovery, plus a photosensitivity warning.

Button Result
✔ Lock the Relay on, enable injection, and auto-inject once to start the loop
✗ Decline: the Relay removes itself

Doing nothing for 120 seconds also counts as a decline; the Relay detaches.

Wearer's Status Menu (touch the Relay)

Shows current withdrawal, days addicted, injection count, and HIGH tier:

Button Action
中文 / EN Switch the wearer's own language
Help Get the Crystal of Deliverance SLURL (see Escape & Release)
Access ▸ Manage who has authority over you (see Access Control)
☑/☐ Filters Toggle the HIGH/episode color-and-lens effects
☑/☐ FX Sound Toggle the ambient/looping sound effects
☑/☐ Dizz AO Toggle the drowsy animation during a Dizzy episode
Events ▸ Event interval and manual-trigger submenu

While Hardcore mode is on, touching the Relay only shows a lock message: the full status menu is unavailable until Hardcore ends (see Access Control).

Addiction & Withdrawal

Addiction & Withdrawal

Withdrawal (0–100) drives the effects and rises on its own: PA2 sensitivity climbs with it, and arousal surges with each shot. The longer the wearer has been hooked (days since the first injection), the faster it climbs, ramping up over the first 10 days, then capping.

Withdrawal only ever goes down when you inject more Catnip. No antidote, no natural recovery, no self-cure: every relief deepens the habit.

HIGH & Overdose

Every shot adds to a HIGH level (0–100); the higher, the heavier the trip: chromatic color sphere, PA2 arousal spike, looping ambient sound:

Tier HIGH level Feel
T1 1–19 Mild prism shimmer
T2 20–79 Stronger chromatic shift, color-shifted environment, ambient loop
T3 80–100 Peak: violent color burst, fisheye, blood-red environment, heartbeat loop

HIGH fades on its own over several minutes; inject again to push it back up.

T4: overdose faint. If the wearer is already at T3 (HIGH ≥ 80) and gets injected again: vision mosaics, then a blackout hold (~2 minutes) (RLV-locked, forced into a sleep animation, frozen in place), then a slow recovery. After T4 the HIGH level resets to zero: the crash after the peak.

Withdrawal Episodes

Once withdrawal ≥ 50, episodes fire at intervals that tighten as withdrawal climbs (default 30m down to 8m apart) and last longer the higher it gets (~75s up to ~150s), never the same type twice in a row:

Episode Effect
Mumble Speech comes out garbled; each line also forces a moan
Masturbation The body acts on its own (PA2 self-grope loop)
Dizzy Drowsy animation + blurred vision + slowed movement; the wearer stays conscious, just impaired, not a blackout

The Catnip Bottle (wearer self-sip, optional prop)

The wearer may carry a 5-sip Catnip Bottle; touching it (wearer only) opens:

Button Action
Drink One sip, a full Catnip injection: withdrawal drops, HIGH fires. Hidden when empty
Beg Beg nearby people for a refill. Always available, even when empty
☑/☐ Floating Text Toggle the floating remaining-sip counter
中文 / EN Switch the bottle's language

Begging for a refill. Beg scans for people within 5m and the wearer picks one to beg. That person (if they hold a Syringe) gets an Accept/Refuse dialog; Accept refills the bottle to 5 sips (private confirm to the wearer); Refuse leaves it empty and posts a public refusal message. If nobody within 5m holds a Syringe, the beg goes unheard, the wearer must crawl closer to a holder.

The remaining-sip count floats above the bottle and survives relog. The bottle is no-copy (transfer OK), it can be passed along or dropped, but not duplicated into stashes.

Escape & Release

  • Before consent: the wearer can decline (✗) or let the 120s timeout expire; the Relay detaches itself.
  • After consent: the wearer's Owner (or the wearer themself, if Self Access is on) can release: Settings → Release on the target, or the wearer's own status menu → Settings → Release. This detaches the Relay, tears down all effects, and resets consent: if the Relay is re-attached, the wearer must consent again before the loop resumes. Hardcore mode blocks Release except by the Owner.
  • The wearer's own escape is an external item: the Crystal of Deliverance. The Relay's Help button gives the store SLURL.
  • To fully wipe addiction data (withdrawal, days, injections), use Settings → Reset State.

Release preserves the addiction data and only clears Owner/Trust/Hardcore and consent. Re-attaching picks the addiction back up once the wearer re-consents. Reset State is the opposite: data wiped, access settings untouched.

Access Control

Anyone with a Syringe can attempt to inject any Relay, but only people the wearer has authorized can actually succeed. This is set in Access ▸ (the wearer's own status menu, or the Owner's copy of the prep menu):

Setting Controls
Owner One person with full authority: inject, release, open Settings, manage this same Access menu remotely. Set by scanning within 10m
Trust (up to 5) Can inject the wearer and use other non-strict controls (unless Hardcore is on)
☑/☐ Public On: strangers can inject via prep menu / mouselook / ground pill. Off: Owner/Trust/self only
☑/☐ Self Access Whether the wearer can inject themself (Catnip Bottle) and release themself

Hardcore Mode

A top-level button in the Settings menu, visible only to the Owner. Turning it on requires the wearer's own consent: the confirmation prompt always goes to the wearer, in their own language, no matter who requested it, spelling out that the menu will lock entirely, the Owner becomes permanent, and only the Crystal of Deliverance can release them (with its location).

Once accepted, the wearer's entire local Relay menu locks: only the Owner can inject or change any setting, Public and Self Access are ignored, and the wearer's own Settings/Release/Reset State buttons stop working. Hardcore is permanent once enabled: the Owner cannot be removed, and nothing turns it off except the Crystal of Deliverance.

Releasing the wearer always clears Owner, Trust, and Hardcore; Reset State does not touch these.

RLV Restrictions

  • The Relay installs onto the wearer automatically when you select them during a scan, not worn voluntarily, but the wearer must consent before it locks.
  • During a T4 overdose faint the wearer is RLV-locked, forced into a sleep animation, and frozen in place.
  • Hardcore mode locks the wearer's entire local menu.

Requirements:

  • Wearer side: an RLV-enabled viewer and an RLV relay or collar that accepts the injector's commands.
  • PA2 (Project Arousal 2, optional), for the arousal/sensitivity effects.

Settings

Relay Settings menu: opened via Settings ▸ on the prep menu. Opening it is available to the wearer's Owner, the wearer themself, Trust, or the public: anyone who can inject can also tune. Release and Reset State stay restricted to the Owner or the wearer.

Button Action

Chinese / English Switch the wearer's language
Release Release the wearer: detach the Relay (see Escape & Release)
Reset Settings Restore tick/event defaults
Reset State Fully wipe the wearer's addiction data (withdrawal, days, injections)
Clr Reattach On: any re-attach (including relog) silently wipes the addiction data, every login starts clean. Default off
