What is RLV, and do I need it?
RLV lets supported products apply viewer restrictions; products that list RLV as required need an RLV-capable viewer.
What RLV does
RLV is a viewer feature used by compatible Second Life products for restrictions such as preventing detach, limiting teleport, or controlling interactions.
Check the product requirements
If a product page says that RLV is required, use a viewer that supports it and enable RLV before using the product. Products without that requirement may still offer optional RLV features.
The exact restrictions vary by product; check its manual before locking.
