What is a key holder?
A key holder is given special lock control and may limit the wearer’s ability to release themselves.
How key holding works
On supported products, another avatar can take or receive the keys and gain special control over locking or unlocking. The wearer may lose self-release permission until the keys are returned.
Before giving away keys, check the product manual for:
- Who can take or return them
- Whether a timer changes the rule
- What happens if the key holder logs out
- Which emergency or recovery options exist
