Access & Locking
What do Owner, Trusted, Public, and Self access mean?
They decide who may open menus or use features; the exact permissions depend on the product.
Common meaning
- Owner: the person with the highest control level.
- Trusted: specifically approved people.
- Public: other nearby users, when public access is enabled.
- Self: the wearer or product user.
Access to a menu does not always mean permission to unlock or change every setting. Products may use these roles differently, so check the access section of that product's manual.
